Could It Be Love?

A moving love story told by an own voices author

Seventeen-year-old Bonnie has fallen in love lots of times, and she often wonders how her life would have panned out if she’d got together with her crushes. But sadly she can’t even bring herself to try and strike up a conversation with them – she’s far too shy. She finds it easier to create a playlist for every unrequited love to remind herself of her feelings. One day, however, while listening to her songs, she’s suddenly transported to an alternative world and finds herself face to face with her first holiday crush. And from that moment on, everything changes. For this is not the last time she travels between worlds. And then there’s the enigmatic Dee, who makes Bonnie’s heart race.

Magical realism set in Edinburgh – we travel with Bonnie to parallel worlds with the help of her playlists
