Petronella has just washed a magic stocking for her grandma. But when she goes to take it off the washing line the next day, it’s gone! Alas, oh woe, where did the stocking go? The apple witch immediately sets out in search of it. But although she looks everywhere – in the apple orchard, in Wimmerding, in Hazel Wood – the stocking is nowhere to be found.
