16-year-old Letitia’s parents have big plans for her: they want her to have a career in figure skating. When the pressure gets too much for Letti, she gives it all up and goes to work at the local children’s hospital instead. There, one of her jobs is to get everyone in the Christmas spirit and create a wishing tree for the children. There’s just one problem: Letti hates Christmas! But Matteo, who is a year older than her, is assigned to help her. His good-humoured nature not only helps her appreciate the magic of Christmas – it also awakens deep feelings in her. But when Letti learns the real reason why Matteo wants to help out at the hospital, everything suddenly threatens to come crashing down.
