Time of the Guilty

Innocent of murder until proven guilty?

November 2022. When Detective Chief Inspector Anne Paulsen threatens seventy-two-year-old Volker März with a gun, she has only one goal: to make him confess. Almost forty years ago, he allegedly raped and brutally murdered seventeen-year-old Nina Larsen. Even though the evidence from the crime scene heavily incriminated März, it wasn’t enough to pronounce him guilty. From then on, Nina's father began fighting desperately for justice. Decades later, when the DNA recovered from the crime scene can be analyzed, he hopes that the price would finally be paid for his daughter's murder. Yet by law, no one can be tried twice for the same crime.

A father who seeks retribution for the murder of his daughter.

A killer who is guilty but cannot be convicted.

A policewoman who seeks justice and commits a crime to attain it.

An unresolvable dilemma in the legal system. A big judicial scandal.
